Just a quick note that the Pumkids CD has just won a 2007 Parents' Choice Silver Honor award. And though of course, it's all about the music, I will confess to being so thrilled to see my little drawing there on the website! Check it out

It's so funny that I would feel that way - I guess it's because it's a different artistic medium than the one I've been working in all my life. But really... I'm so proud of the Pumkies (pretty good for a band that started 33 years ago!) and grateful beyond words for all the hard work Valley Hennel put into this project. She's an inspiration for what can be accomplished with the power of intention - and thousands of hours of mind grinding work!
